This project is a compilation of 3 separate EPs I had been planning on making, but at the rate I was making these EPs, I decided to put them all together as a 3 part album. The first part is 2.5 West St, and its a continuation of my last project, West St, and it was made because I felt like that was a happier project and I had some more darker sounding song ideas that never made the cut.
The next part is 2.1 Main St. This is a mini story about the beginning of my sophomore year dealing with heartbreak from a girl that just strung me along. We're friends now that school is over, but that first semester, she made my life hell emotionally and mentally, and it almost caused me to flunk out of college.
The last part is 2.9 Extras, which are just 3 bonus tracks that I made throughout the year. P.B.L. is a song that I wrote for the lovely ladies of Pi Phi Epsilon (a sorority at my college) the fun fact about this is that I wrote this for them when I was competing to become one of the lucky men to be considered a sweetheart, and I became one as well! Hollywood is a song I wrote about/ for my high school friends as we started to lose contact because my schedule started becoming more and more busy that they started calling me Hollywood, and saying I was too Hollywood for them, so to get them off my back, I made this song to show that I'm not trying to lose contact and that I'm still the same dude they were friends with in high school. Obligatory Song About A Girl (Remix) is just a remix of the song from my last project that Fanaticus and Jamil loved the production of and wanted to make a remix of. The concept stayed as a third person song with the addition of the two of them. Fanaticus produced most of that track with some sample help from myself.
